My name is Justin Brown and I grew up not too far from Austin in a lovely place called Rockdale, TX. I’ve been athletic all my life and have experienced many of life’s aches and pains first hand. I played soccer and baseball as a child and participated in tennis, football, track and basketball throughout school with varying degrees of success.
I was always fascinated by the human body. When lifting weights in jr. high I learned about muscle shapes and how muscles could be sculpted. I studied in educational and recreational settings to learn more about biomechanics, structure, function, and anatomy. I studied at Southwest Texas State University and graduated with a degree in Health and Fitness Management in 2002. I played on the college rugby team and took my lumps while I was there; nonetheless, that is where, how, and why I started getting massages.
I rode 8 years as a professional cyclist and as you can see from my photo, I also have a big moustache/beard. Don’t let it scare you. I’m a proud member of the Austin Facial Hair Club. My interests include brewing beer, raising chickens, and "fighting the man." I lived in a van and backpacked through the mountains of New Zealand for the better part of 2006 and loved every minute of it. I recommend you give it a go!
In 2008, I graduated from A New Beginning School of Massage in South Austin and have been in practice since.
My passion is helping you feel better and be healthier. Find out more about me by calling today.
